Robert Iamurri

The program's founding father, Iamurri returns for season number eight with the Bucs in 2022-23.

Iamurri has put together an unbelievable seven year stretch for the Bucs, going 354-43 overall. He has more Suncoast Conference Championships (6) as conference losses with a 114-5 mark in league play through seven seasons. The eyepopping numbers continue with back to back NJCAA National Championships in 2021 & 2022, two State Championships and five overall trips to the NJCAA National Tournament. He has coached 26 First Team All-State selections and 16 NJCAA All-Americans in just seven years.

Last season Iamurri and the Bucs did something that only one other team has done in the last 30 years in the NJCAA, winning back to back NJCAA National Championships. The Bucs finished 56-6 overall, fighting off five straight elimination games, including four by one run, at the NJCAA National Tournament to claim the title. During the regular season the Bucs won their sixth straight Suncoast Conference Championship, posting their second straight undefeated record at 20-0. Iamurri's list of All-Americans continued to grow in 2022 as Baylee Haggard, Feline Poot, and Laura Vigna were all named NFCA All-Americans while the trio along with Shenita Tucker were named NJCAA All-Americans.

2021 was a magical season for Iamurri and the Bucs as they spent the majority of the season as the #1 ranked team in the country before going on to win the first NJCAA National Championship in program history in late May. Iamurri's Bucs finished 49-4 and he was named both the NJCAA and NFCA National Coach of the Year. The Bucs went a perfect 19-0 in Suncoast Conference play to capture their fifth straight Conference Championship before winning the South Atlantic District Championship to qualify for their third National Tournament. FSW didn't just win at the National Tournament, they dominated, outscoring their opponents 44-20 to capture their first ring. For the second straight season Iamurri had four NJCAA and NFCA All-Americans including the NFCA Pitcher of the Year Alyssa O'Donnell.

It's too bad Iamurri and the Bucs' 2020 season was cut short due to Covid-19 because FSW came out of the gates swinging last season, putting up a 23-2 record including wins over defending National Champs Chipola and defending State Champs Central Florida. At the time of the stoppage the Bucs were averaging 10.7 runs per game and were hitting .434 as a team as they were getting ready to enter Suncoast Conference play. Two players signed with Division I programs with Haley Ellefson going to the Big 10 and Maryland while Rebeca Laudino inked with perennial NCAA power Louisiana-Lafayette.

2019 was another incredible year for the Bucs as they finished 54-3 and won their fourth straight Suncoast Conference Championship with a 19-1 record. FSW was ranked #1 in the country for all six weeks of the regular season and finished the season #3 in the National Poll. Iamurri coached four more All-Americans, six All-State selections, and 11 All-Confrence picks. Six sophomores signed to play at the next level including three at the Division I level.

Under Iamurri's direction, the Buccaneers finished the 2017 season with a 66-7 overall record (18-2 Suncoast Conference). For their performance in 2017, Iamurri and his coaching staff (Karla Powell, Kellie Quarles) were named NJCAA Division I South Region Coaching Staff of the Year. The Bucs captured their second straight Suncoast Conference title and won the program’s first FCSAA/Region 8 State title. FSW won three elimination games on May 19 at the NJCAA Division I Championship, before falling to national runner-up Salt Lake (3-1) on Championship Saturday to take third place. Coach Iamurri and his staff led the Buccaneers to win streaks of 10, 14 and 33 games this season en route to earning South Region honors.

In his first season with the Buccaneers, Iamurri led FSW to a 53-16 overall record and a No. 11 national ranking. The Bucs secured the program’s first Suncoast Conference Championship with a 19-1 mark in conference play, won the District H Championship and locked up the program's first berth to the NJCAA National Tournament by finishing as the runner-ups at the FCSAA State Tournament. The Bucs won one game at the 2016 NJCAA National Tournament in St. George, Utah before being eliminated on day two of the event.

Iamurri has a long-standing connection in Southwest Florida, which includes earning his Associate in Arts degree from Edison Community College. He was the head softball coach for Naples High School from 1986-2014.

Kellie Quarles-Webb

Quarles-Webb enters her sixth season as the Bucs assisant in 2022-2023.

Quarles-Webb has been on the bench for back to back runs to the NJCAA National Championships for the Bucs in 2021 & 2022, helping lead the Purple and Aqua to a 56-6 overall record and a 20-0 mark in Suncoast Conference play before claiming their second straight title last season. Quarles-Webb's offense again ranked as one of the best in the NJCAA ranks, finishing the season with a .396 team batting average while putting up just under 9 runs per game on the year. Three of the Bucs nine full time starters in the lineup were named NJCAA All-Americans including Feline Poot who was named the Suncoast Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season while picking up 2nd Team All-American honors.

Quarles-Webb and the Bucs won their first NJCAA National Championship in program history in 2021, finishing 49-4 and a perfect 5-0 at the National Tournament to etch their names in the history books. Primarily responsible for the Bucs hitters, Quarles-Webb's bats hit .403 as a team in 2021 and averaged over 9 runs per game while clubbing 66 home runs and 177 extra base hits overall. Three Bucs hitters were named NJCAA All-Americans and three signed with NCAA Division I programs.

Inbetween stints with the Bucs, Quarles-Webb spent the 2020 season at Duke University where the Blue Devils raced out to a 23-4 start to the year before having the remainder of it cancelled due to COVID-19. With Quarles-Webb on staff, the Blue Devils were hitting .319 as a team, 54 points higher than their previous best team mark, while bashing a program record 26 home runs despite playing just half a season.

In her first stop in Fort Myers, Quarles-Webb spent three highly successful seasons on the FSW bench aside Head Coach Robert Iamurri. FSW was 173-15 overall and 56-4 in Suncoast Conference play during Quarles-Webb's first three seasons in Fort Myers. She helped the Bucs to a pair of State Championships and two trips to the NJCAA National Tournament during her first stint. Fully in charge of the Bucs' offensive attack in 2019, Quarles-Webb's hitters put together a .393 team batting average while launching a program record 59 home runs and scoring 8.6 runs per contest. FSW had three All-American hitters including Rebeca Laudino and Owen Bowers who were both 1st Team selections.
