Rebecca Arbino

Rebecca Arbino begins her second season at Rhodes, and her first as the program’s Head Coach.

A product of Lake Los Angeles CA, Arbino was born in California before moving to Colorado where she spent her childhood. She would return to the West Coast for her High School career that led to her recruitment to play collegiate softball at Texas A&M.

At Texas A&M she earned “Big 12 Rookie of the Year” as well as multiple Pitcher of the Week awards. While in College Station, Arbino led the Aggies to back-to-back NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) post season appearances, notching multi–NCAA Regional wins in the circle.

After her sophomore season, Arbino elected to transfer to San Diego State University. At SDSU she led the Aztecs to two Mountain West Conference Championships as well as consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament; finishing both the 2012 and 2013 seasons ranked among the Top 25 in D1 Softball. During her time in San Deigo, Arbino earned two NFCA All-Region honors, multiple Pitcher of the Week awards, a Scholar Athlete award and was tabbed the conference’s Pitcher of the Year as a senior. Despite only playing in San Diego for two seasons, she still holds multiple records for career pitching categories.

Following graduation, she traveled to Italy to play softball professionally. In her first and only season overseas, she led her team to an Italian National Championship.

As a coach, prior to Rhodes, Arbino was the head coach Kingsburg High School (CA) where she led the program to a second-place district finish. Following her year in Kingsburg, Arbino accepted a position as an assistant at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she remained for two seasons. During her time at UNLV, she coached multiple Mountain West Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week honorees, as well as NFCA All-Region selections, and CoSida Academic All-Americans.

In 2017, Arbino accepted a position at University of Minnesota Crookston. Beginning as an assistant, she was promoted to Interim Head Coach. In her single season in Crookston, Arbino tied the school record for single season victories, made vast improvements in fielding and on-base percentages, and mentored two Co-Sida Academic All-Americans all while boasting the highest team grade point average in the UMC Athletic Department.

Arbino holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree from San Diego State and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Colorado State.

RT Cantillo

Prior to Rhodes, Cantillo has years of experience developing and training athletes ranging from 10u to collegiate level. Cantillo helped run a travel organization out of Louisiana - southern Army, was an assistant coach for Explosion 16U - Greg Borzilleri for two and a half years and trained all outfielders within the Explosion (CA) organization, and served as the volunteer coach for University of California in Riverside. Cantillo also served as the assistant coach at University of Minnesota, Crookston and aided the Golden Eagles in their .39 increase with their team batting average.

As an athlete, Cantillo was a NFCA All-Region selection as a senior at the University of Mississippi. She was the second Rebel in school history to earn All-Region honors. She earned All-SEC Second Team twice in her career. She was selected in the 5th round of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) draft at the conclusion of her collegiate career. She played for the Chicago Bandits in 2014 and 2015 and was part of the squad that won the NPF Championship.

"For her career, Cantillo finished with a .481 on-base percentage, the highest mark in program history, and the second highest batting average (.354) in program history.
