ALL 1.2 BATS WILL BE LEGAL (EXCEPT SENIOR BATS)

The COMBAT Tournament Series comes to the Eddie C Moore Softball Complex in Clearwater April 7th.  There will be Men's Class C, Men's Class D, with Co-Ed scheduled on Sunday. There will be 10 Combat Bats given away in each Division of 10 teams or more, plus there will be MONEY Pot in each division, over $2,000 worth of merchandise will be given away at each tournament.  Florida ASA has started each Division off with $1000 plus $25 from each team entered at each tournament will be added to the running MONEY POT total.  The Money Pot Total will be posted on this website after each tournament. The Grand Finale will be August 11 at the Seminole Softball Complex with the Money Pot given away to the top three teams in each division.  

Florida ASA is providing accident insurance for all players in all of the Combat Tournament Series events, with a $500 deductible.  This policy is an Excess policy which means if you have insurance you would use that first and if you have no insurance this policy would act as your primary coverage.

Plus tournament brackets will be posted on line and you can receive live text messages of scores as they happen.

Final details will be posted shortly for everyone to see.  All teams must have their roster on line, which is simply clicking on Roster and filling out your roster on line.

What is Online Check-in?

Online Check-in eliminates the need for your team to show up in person before your first game by allowing you to complete the check-in process online. You will be required to upload .pdf files or images to the secure sincSports cloud. The event will determine which documents are required.

There is a $20 non-refundable fee.

USF Ken Erikson Named USA Softball

Eriksen, Johns Named Head Coaches for USA Softball Women’s Program

 OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America and USA Softball announced January 29th the selection of Ken Eriksen (University of South Florida, Tampa, Fla.) and Karen Johns (Whippany, N.J.) as the Head Coaches of the Women’s National Team and Junior Women’s National Team, respectively.  Eriksen has served as an assistant coach for many women’s teams including the 2004 Olympic Gold medal winning team in Athens while Johns was an assistant for the 2008 Olympic Silver medal winning team in Beijing.



Brazil Wins ISF Youth World Cup

Brazil knocked off South Florida Mini Bulls 3-2 in the Gold Medal Game Wednesday night at the Plant City Stadium.  All tied after 5 1/2 innings Brazil score what proved to be the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning.  Both team played well and showed outstanding sportsmanship.  It was an outstanding tournament with 11 International Team and 11 ASA Teams from across the United States.  Florida had two of the Final Four Teams with the Oviedo Blaze finishing fourth after losing to Puerto Rico in the Bronze Medal Game, as the South Florida Mini Bulls finished second.  Also playing from Florida were the Orlando Flames, Wildfire, Quicksilver, and the Plant City Legends.  All represented Florida well at the Youth World Cup of Softball.
