Sarah Prezioso

After being hired as an assistant softball coach in August of 2020, Sarah Prezioso was elevated to interim head coach in January 2021 and will serve in the capacity through the completion of the 2021 season.

She returns to Philadelphia after a one-year stint at Incarnate Wood in San Antonio, Texas, under her former head coach Joe DiPietro.

Prior to joining the staff for the Cardinals, Prezioso spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Kean in Union, N.J. In her final season with the Cougars, Prezioso helped guide KU to a 39-8 overall record and a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Before starting at Kean, she served as assistant coach at Rutgers-Newark for two seasons. Prezioso helped engineer an upset in 2015, when the Scarlet Raiders stole a game from the No. 20 Kean in their NJAC doubleheader.

During her playing days, the Bloomfield, N.J. native was the first Owl to reach 200 career hits and holds the program's all-time record for hits (224), home runs (36), at-bats (618), runs (169), total bases (386), and stolen bases (63). She also ended her career with a .362 batting average and hit above .350 in three of her four seasons. Prezioso set the A-10 single season record for runs with 65 in 2013, which still stands today. She was a NFCA All-Northeast Region First-Team selection in 2013 on top of being a three-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection, including two first team nods and one second team. Her second team honors came during her rookie campaign in 2011, when she was also a member of the league's All-Rookie Team.

After graduation, Prezioso played professionally for the Pennsylvania Rebellion of the National Pro Fastpitch league for two seasons (2014-15).

She graduated from Temple in 2014 with a degree in communications.
