If you’re a fan of softball and monster hitters then you know Jeff Hall. While Jeff can play anywhere and with anyone he is entering into the world of Senior Softball and we are ecstatic. Beyond play Jeff is looking to bring his experience and knowledge of the game in addition to providing fresh opportunities for the teams and players that want to be the best and play against the best.
In honor of Jeff Hall the USSSA in the Southeast is working with him to bring you another level of tournament play and both Jeff and the USSSA have heard from you on what changes you would like to see. Therefore next year he will be kicking off the first season promoting senior softball with area tournaments that don’t require cards or massive fees. Senior rules will apply except for the pitching will be either 6-10 or 6-12. Due to other tournament injuries pitching screens will be allowed if the team so desires the use of one. The great news is area softball teams will have the chance to play up to 5 tournaments all located within 200 miles of Charlotte, NC. My favorite is the entry fee’s cost will be lower than other organizations are currently charging teams.
