Coaches, we wanted to send a note that we are moving forward with tomorrow's tournament. The schedules have been taken down offline so we can make some modifications to it. We have had a number of teams drop and teams requesting to be added from cancelled events. We did just make the decision to push back the start time of the tournament to 9am versus an 8am start, to give teams more notice in the morning is thigns change. Our plan is to give an update via the USFA Mobile App weather at 5:45am in the morning that we are gren light go. We have turf fields and even though the forecast is not ideal, we are going to do our best to get it in. Two weeks ago we had a similar forecast and we got the tournament in. The weekend before that we got 2 inches of rain between 6am-7am and we started the 8am games on time. Ford Park was the only place playing softball in town a few weeks ago because of the turf. Dont know what we are in store for tomorrow, but we are going to work our tails off to get this thing in. We are also looking at dropping the extra game we were giving the 12u/14u to help us get it in and have a later start. Give us a couple of hours to adjust the schedules and lock in these late adds. I'll send a text and email out when we are back up online. I appreciate your flexibility as we try to do battle with Mother Nature to get the girls some innings in this weekend. More to come...
