NC USSSA VOLUNTEER Program
January
1, 2012 - December 31, 2012
The _______________________ baseball team will
participate in USSSA BASEBALL EVENTS when possible to be held in North
Carolina and the United States starting on January 1, 2012 and ending December
31, 2012. Once you submit this form, there are no refunds if you withdraw from
the program.
Volunteer Program/Play Application Fee
for the Full Year is $850 by Credit Card (Jan 1 - Dec 31) OR Volunteer
Program/Play Application Fee for 1 Season is $425 by Credit Card (Jan
1-July 31) or (Aug 1 - Dec 31)
Teams
participating in our Volunteer Program are required to participate in the Carolina
Super NIT and the State Championship for the Summer and Fall. Only events not
covered in the volunteer program are The Super NIT's, State Tournament, and World
Series Events.
Teams
may play in any event in North Carolina at no additional Cost (Excluding Canton
Area). An Event Schedule and Volunteer Contract must be signed before
being accepted into the volunteer program. The Application Fee is due at
signing. Valid For only the Season the Selects.
All
Volunteers Must Submit a current photo with name, address, phone and email
address. This should be done by the Tuesday the week of the event.
Spring or Fall Season:
Your team agrees to supply 9 Volunteers per hour for your assigned weekend.
The times are as follows: Friday 6PM-Close, Saturday 7AM - 9PM, Sunday 7AM - 9PM.

We
will Charge your Card $425.00 on Jan 1 for the Spring Season and July 31 for
the Fall Season
Below
you will find an outline of your weekend and the slots that we would need
filled. This is an example of a situation where we would be a capacity and
playing Friday Night. Sometimes even if we do not play Friday Night Field Set
up is done on location. Teams may not Volunteer and play the same weekend
it just creates too many problems.
Weekend Selections are Open to any team until full. Teams that sign up
for the year will Volunteer 4 separate weekends during the year providing up-to
9 people per Hour. Teams that sign Up
for a spring or fall Season will Volunteer 2 weekends with up-to 9 People per
Hour. If your weekend is rained out then we will assign the NEXT AVAILABLE WEEKEND.
Volunteer Work Description
1. Site Supervisor: Individual will assist in Collecting
Fee's, Checking in Teams, Presentation of Awards, Supervise Volunteers at Site.
2. Concession Helpers: Individuals will cook, prepare and
serve food during the event.
3. Gate Workers: Check In Coaches, Collect Money, monitor
outside containers coming into park.
4. Merchandise Workers: Set up, Sell and Inventory items
being sold at the event.
5. Field Crew: Rake, Line, Drag, Pick Up Trash and keep
water and cups in dug outs.
6. Head Score Keeper: Will assist teams with keeping
score using our new technology provided by Point Streak.
7. Spectator Shuttle: Volunteer will shuttle guest/coaches
via Golf Cart to and From bathrooms, parking lot, concession and anyone needing
assistance.
8. Any other work the Tournament Director and/or Site Director may
request.
