Misti Nims

Misti Nims starts her 22nd season as Head Coach at Coastal Alabama CC- East. She began coaching in 2001 where she led the Warhawks to 14 state tournament appearances and in 2015 was named the ACCC Coach of the Year. She has produced countless Academic All-Americans, All-Region players, All-Conference players, and has helped numerous players move on to the next level.

Coach Nims also was the Head Volleyball Coach from 2004 - 2013. She stepped down to focus primarily on softball. Besides her coaching duties, Misti is also a full-time instructor in the Health/Physical Education department.

Coach Nims is a native of Cantonment, Florida, where she was a four-year starter for the softball team and a two-year starter for the volleyball team at J.M. Tate High School. She earned a softball scholarship to Pensacola Junior College where she was an All-Academic team member and an All-Conference first baseman. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Sports Science and her master’s degree in Health, Leisure, and Exercise Science/ Physical Education at the University of West Florida.

Jeri Beasley

Jeri Beasley starts her 2nd year as the Assistant Coach at Coastal Alabama CC-East. She is from Cullman, Alabama. She graduated from West Point High School in 2016. After Graduation, she attended Jefferson Davis CC/Coastal Alabama CC from 2016-2019. While at Coastal she pitched her way too many accolades. She was named to the ACCC All-South 1st team and the All-Region 2nd team. After earning her Associates Degree at Coastal, Jeri earned a softball scholarship to Faulkner University. During her time at Faulkner, she was named to the All-Conference 2nd team and the Conference All-Tournament Team while earning her Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management.
