Jackie Huff

Huff is entering her fourth season at the helm of the Converse University softball program for the 2025 season.

During her third season at the helm of the Valkyries, Huff lead the Converse softball program to the most wins in a single season in program history. The Valkyries broke no less than 58 other records that season at Huff's direction including: team runs in a game (18, twice), team hits in a season (416), team batting average (.299), team home runs in a season (25), individual RBIs in a season (Sydney Watson, 50), team stolen bases in a game (11, Feb. 16 against Shaw), individual and team strikeouts in a season (218 by Riley Lingerfelt and 311) and individual strikeouts in a game (Lingerfelt, 18 Feb. 26 against Allen).

Huff also helped coach Riley Lingerfelt to the first no-hitter and perfect game in program history on Feb. 16, 2024 against Shaw. Following that week, Lingerfelt earned Conference Carolinas and NFCA National Pitcher of the Week honors, becoming the first player in program history to earn either award. She was also there commanding the ship on Feb. 26 when Lingerfelt tossed the second no-hitter in program history against Allen. With Huff's guidance, Sydney Watson was named the program's second-ever all conference selection following her junior season. She earned second team honors as a utility player

Prior to Converse, Huff spent two seasons at Ohio Christian University. Huff guided her alma mater through the uncertainty of the COVID-19 Pandemic during her two seasons at the helm of the Trailblazers’ program. Following the 2021 season, Huff had a player named to the First Team All-Conference list.

Prior to her time at Ohio Christian University, Huff was a graduate assistant at Columbia International University. While in Columbia, Huff helped build the foundation of the Rams softball program.

Huff graduated from Ohio Christian with her Bachelor's Degree Substance Abuse Counseling and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Management and Professional Leadership at Converse University. She serves on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II head coaches committee. In August 2023, Huff attended the Great Alaska Showcase among multiple other notable coaches from DI and DII institutions.
