Pat Conlan

Pat Conlan enters her 15th season on the Hilltop as the Georgetown University softball head coach and her 25th year overall of coaching the collegiate level. Conlan transformed GU’s club team into a Division I program in 2006, serving as the program's first and only head coach. She will guide the Hoyas into their 12th season of BIG EAST play in 2020.

Over the past five seasons on the Hilltop, Conlan has led the Hoyas to 65 victories and oversaw 29 BIG EAST weekly recognitions. In 2018, she coached three Hoyas who made the All-BIG EAST Second Team for the first time since 2014.

Conlan coached a squad that set a program record in 2014 with 26 wins, finishing with a 26-22 overall record and a 12-8 mark in BIG EAST play. The Hoyas earned the No. 3 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament that season and four Hoyas were named to the All-BIG EAST Team, including Megan Hyson who was also named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division I All-Region Team.

In 2013, the Hoyas finished 21-33 and 10-12 in the BIG EAST Conference, tying a then-program record in wins, including nine at home. This was the program's first ever berth to the BIG EAST Tournament. In 2012, Conlan helped then-freshman Hyson earn NFCA Second Team All-Regional.

Conlan led Georgetown into the BIG EAST in 2009, starting with an 8-13 conference record as the Hoyas adjusted quickly to the competition. Conlan helped then-freshman pitcher Mackensey Carter develop into an All-BIG EAST Third Team selection, the first conference honor that Georgetown's program received. The Hoyas continued to grow under Conlan during the 2008 season, setting the first team record of 21 wins, nearly doubling their previous season-high (12) in victories. The 2007 season marked Conlan's first recruiting class including shortstop Samantha Peters, who Conlan molded into an All-Independent Top Newcomer selection, the team's first postseason individual honor.

Prior to Georgetown, Conlan spent 14 years coaching for various collegiate teams and has proven a success with each program she has been associated with. In 2005, she helped guide NC State to a 41-25 record. In her two seasons as an assistant coach with the Pack, she was instrumental in the success of a pitching staff that compiled a 1.71 ERA, holding opposition to a .199 batting average, while recording 491 strikeouts in 227.1 innings pitched in 2005. The staff posted a 2.10 ERA, with 456 strikeouts and a .225 opponents' batting average in 399 1/3 innings pitched in 2004.

Before NC State, Conlan spent six seasons at her alma mater, the University of Connecticut, where she helped the Huskies finish in second and third place in the BIG EAST Conference in 2000 and 2001, respectively. In 2001, Conlan was a member of the NFCA Northeast Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

Conlan also spent three seasons as the Fairfield University head softball coach, a position she gained after serving as an assistant coach there for one year. As Fairfield's head coach, Conlan helped the Stags land runner-up in the 1997 MAAC Tournament and the program's first winning season since 1988. In 1997, she was selected as the MAAC Coach of the Year.

As a player at UConn, Conlan led the Huskies to a fifth-place finish in the 1993 Womens' College World Series. She earned All-America status and was named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-BIG EAST, All-New England, All-ECAC and All-Northeast. In four years as a player, her teams captured four BIG EAST tournament titles, while she compiled a 55-17 career record on the mound. Conlan also set school records for wins in a season (26), shutouts in a season (14), complete games (26) and consecutive innings without allowing an earned run (73.2). Her 1993 ERA of .33 ranked second nationally as she allowed just 11 earned runs in 231.1 innings.

Conlan is a 1993 graduate of UConn and holds a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies. She is a member of the NFCA and has previously served on the NFCA Ethics Committee from 2012-16. From 2012-15, she represented the BIG EAST on the Head Coaches Committee. Conlan has served on the Board of Directors as a member of the Executive Board as a First Vice President from 2013-15, a Fifth Vice President in 2015-16 and as Special Advisor to the Executive Director in 2017. In 2018, she began her role as Vice President of Awards.

She currently resides in Fairfax, Va. with her wife, Shanan, and their three sons, Hayden, Owen and Reid.

Monique White

Monique White enters her second season as the assistant coach for the Georgetown University softball team. She helped the Hoyas finish the 2019 season with an overall record of 14-35 and 6-13 in the BIG EAST.

White came to the Hilltop from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) where she served as the assistant coach from 2014-18. White supported a program that finished each season with a winning record since she joined the coaching staff. While coaching the Eagles, she monitored the team's academic success, which resulted in a team GPA above 3.10 at the end of each school year.

White played collegiate softball at Daytona State College (DSC) from 2004-06 before finishing her career at Florida International University from 2006-08. While at DSC, she was a two-time all-conference selection while also earning player of the year and best defensive player accolades. At FIU, White was a two-time All-Sun Belt selection and was named the Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year in 2007. She still stands atop the FIU all-time leaderboard for home runs in a single season with 17 in 2008; for her career, she hit .351 with 31 home runs in two seasons, both of which rank second in school history.

After graduating from FIU, White played internationally for one season with the Gryphons in Rosmalen, Netherlands. After her playing career, White served as an instructor with Game On Softball in Jacksonville and took over the softball program at Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville in 2010. In 2011, White was named an assistant coach at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She returned to Jacksonville in 2012 to work as the assistant coach at Fletcher High School for two seasons.

White served as the head coach for the Swedish Softball Federation in Stockholm, Sweden from 2012-14 and led the team to its first gold medal in the 15-year club history as the Swedish Championship Winner. She was also selected to serve as the Swedish National team assistant softball coach in 2013 and helped Sweden place seventh out of 19 teams at the European Softball Championships.

White received her Associate of Arts in communications from DSC and a Bachelor of Science in journalism with a minor in marketing from FIU. She completed her master's degree in leadership from Embry-Riddle in December 2016.

Didn't have a long-term experience with the site, however I found it more user friendly than CaptainU, which I had used in the past.
