Alyssa Morris

Alyssa Morris begins her second season as the Head Coach of the Union College softball program. She was named to the post in August of 2019.


Morris spent the 2019 season as the Bulldogs' assistant coach.


During her season an Union's assistant, the Bulldogs went 31-20 overall and 20-6 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) to place second in the leage.


Union also produced the AAC Player of the Year in 2018. In all, the Bulldogs had one All-AAC first-team member and three on the second team.


Morris was the Graduate Assistant at Indiana Wesleyan University the past two years, helping the Wildcats to back-to-back NAIA World Series appearances and an overall record of 102-27.


Originally from Virginia Beach, Va. Morris played at Concord University, an NCAA Division II institution in Athens, W.V.


During her playing days, Morris set the program records for home runs in a single season (15) and career (46)


With 46 home runs in her career, it placed her at in the top 10 fo r career home runs in the NCAA Division II level.


Morris carried a career .365 batting average with 49 doubles, 46 home runs, 120 runs, 169 RBIs, 82 walks, and threw out 25 runners trying to steal.


Morris was a four-time All-WVIAC selection and was named an NFCA All-American catcher her junior year when she hit .393 with 15 doubles and 15 home runs.


Alyssa has her undergraduate degree in sociology with a focus on crime and deviance while minoring in social work.


She received her master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan in public administration with a focus on criminal justice.

Alexis Bandin

Joined the Bulldog staff in January of 2021.

Played at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Ariz., before completing her playing days at the University of Charleston (W.Va.).

A pitcher, she was a member of Charleston's 2016 NCAA Division II Women's College World Series in Denver, Colo.

Gradutate Charleston in 2017 with a degree in business administration.

Served an assistant and pitching coach with RedHawks Softball Organization in Mesa, Ariz., in 2017.

In 2018, served as the head freshmen team coach at Mesa High School (Ariz.).

Became a graduate assistant/pitching coach at Shorter University (Ga.) for the 2019 season.

Earned a master's degree from Shorter in sport management.
