2023 Texas State Championship Open Divisions will be in Houston Market in Pearland & Rosenberg TX
If your team is going to be attending the USFA World Series in Panama City, FL it is a requirement to play in this State Event. The event will be seeded by points accumulated throughout the season.
Format:
2 Pools/Double Elimination Bracket (Pool games will start Friday Night 6:30pm at all complexes for local area teams, so plan on starting Friday night for pools-Out of town teams will start Saturday am)

Diamonds at Daly Park: $10 Daily Admission Fee per Adult (Age 16+) All players and children under 16 are free. Capped at $20 per vehicle, so 3 or more Adults in one vehilce still only pay $20

Note, if you have an issue or concern during the event please contact your UIC or Director directly on their cell. Contacting RG directly will not be the fastest way to get your problem addressed, as he will be at different parks throughout the event.

Mandatory Qualifier: If you are going to USFA World Series in Panama City Beach, FL you must play in the State Tournament to qualify. You don’t have to place anything specific, only play in it.
Rosters will be locked after this event; you are able to pick up to 2 players post State to Nationals; Note if you have special circumstances where you need more it will require State Director approval. This helps prevent post State “team building” which hurts divisions at World Series.
C-Class teams; Reminder that you are not allowed to pick up higher class (A/B) players and still play in C-Class.
All rosters will need to be entered into the USFA system for the event by EOD Thursday 5/16; as the rosters will lock at 2pm Friday before the event starts.
Note, at the first bracket game each team will need to go through a bat safety check before the plate conference. Each team will need to stand all of the bats on the outside fence of the dugout to allow umpires to review the bats.
Teams will flip for home or visitor at the plate conference; Championship game home designation will go to the winners bracket team, and there will be “If” games for each division
