Skills Contest-- Contest will begin Thursday night at 7:30pm.  All ages for skills contest will be at New Smyrna Beach Sports Complex.  Champions and Runner Up awards for all ages and contest.   Please send an email to rick.usatb@yahoo.com with your participants for each event.   Five players from each team can participate in the "Home Run Derby", and "Road Runner Contest".  Each team can have two groups of 5 (different) players each to participate in "Around The Horn"   Home Run Derby -  Your Team Coaches will throw from behind an L Screen to your batters.  Each participant will get 10 OUTS.  An out is any ball that does not leave the park (foul or fair) or any swing and miss.  Tie breaker will be in effect for Champions and will also get the additional 10 OUTS.   9U-10U will use 160' fence (8U will swing from in Front of Second Base approximately 120') 11U-12U will use 190' fence.   Around The Horn - 5 players.  Pitcher to catcher, catcher to third, third to second, second to first, first to home.  Time will start on the pop to catchers mitt beginning and ending.  Bases must be touched (feet or what  ever is quickest) . Each group will have three rounds to get the best time.   Road Runner -  All ages  70' bases.  Start behind home plate.  Clock will start on player movement and will stop when rounds bases and touches home.  Each player will be given two chances for best time.   Have A Great Time and Let us know if you need anything.   USA Travel Ball Staff
