The
Red Raider Baseball Club is a youth baseball organization that
specializes in baseball training that helps players reach their maximum
potential and achieve their goals and dreams. Our indoor training
programs are for youth baseball players of all ability levels from ages 8
to 18. Our programs include “The Hammer Program”, which is a core
strength workout designed for hitting development and conditioning, and
“The Strong Arm Program”, which is for arm strength development and
pitching conditioning. We also offer an advanced training program
designed for our High School athletes that want to play college
baseball. Members also receive unlimited hitting and pitching lessons
with head coach Rick Bennett.
Success in baseball does not have to be
one in a million. With years of hard work and baseball specific
training, there is no dream that is unreachable. Red Raiders has
trained and help place more than 100 players into NCAA Division I
Baseball, NCAA Division II Baseball, NAIA and JUCO Baseball. From our
second generation high school class of 2005, 27 former Red Raiders went
on to play college baseball, 14 of them received baseball scholarships
with Division I schools (Miami, FSU, Clemson, Alabama, UCF, Dartmouth,
Brown, Army). 36 former players have gone on to play professionally,
including two first round draft picks by MLB Jemile Weeks (12th overall
pick by the Oakland Athletics in the 2008 draft) and Andrew McCutcheon
(11th overall pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2005 draft). The
Red Raiders now proudly boast 3 Major League Baseball Players;
McCutcheon (2011 MLB All Star!), Weeks and
Jordan Schafer (Houston Astros). Unlike many baseball organizations
that invite short-term "guest players" on their teams and then brag
about their history with the program, all three of these current MLB
stars spent multiple years playing in a Red Raider uniform.
Along
with indoor training, the Red Raider Baseball Club offers opportunities
to be a part of tournament teams, leagues, camps and family events. Red
Raider tournament teams annually travel to state, regional and national
events. Red Raider teams have won 5 national championships, 30 state
championships and hundreds of local tournament in many different organizations (USSSA, AAU, NABF,
AABC, IBC, Triple Crown). If your son is willing to work hard to reach
his potential, we want to invite him out to our next workout and
potentially join the Red Raider family.
