Rick Bennett

Rick Bennett is the Head Coach and founder of the Red Raider Baseball Club.

Rick founded the Red Raiders Baseball Club in 1994, and has since established himself as one of the elite baseball coaches in the state.  Rick's Red Raider teams have won 30 State Championships, 5 National Championships and over 300 weekend tournaments.  Rick is a very loud, enthusiastic and motivating coach whose passion is teaching the game and developing his players into better baseball players.  It does not matter what age he is coaching, he always teaches and expects his players to play at a level higher than they currently are.

Dozens of players that have worn a Red Raiders uniform have gone on to play College baseball and many have moved on to the professional ranks.  The Red Raiders organization proudly boasts two former first round draft picks; Andrew McCutcheon (Pittsburgh Pirates) and Jemile Weeks (Oakland A's).  And even more impressive, the Red Raiders have three players currently in the Major Leagues; McCutcheon (2011 MLB All Star!), Weeks and Jordan Schafer (Houston Astros).  And unlike many other organizations who invite "guest players" just to play for a few tournament and then brag on them being a part of their organization, these players all spent multiple years playing for Rick Bennett.
